Larimar is known as the Stone of Atlantis - found only in the Dominican Republic, discovered following a volcanic eruption.

Legend has it, that the Atlantean Temples were built of this amazing stone - a Water stone, but born of fire. It is classified as a water stone due to its island habitat and distinctive aquamarine hue, which is odd given that Larimar is mainly created by volcanic lava.

It is associated with the Throat Chakra, and is also known as the Dolphin Stone. Larimar works by bringing balance and harmony with your energies to achieve overall calm, relaxation and unity within oneself.

Larimar is an earth-healing stone. It connects with nature and will counteract imbalances in the earth's energy. Larimar helps to tone the throat. By opening up the throat chakra, it promotes self-confidence and encourages us to express our deepest truths and fears.
